Eyes and roofs and camera screw-ups

 I went to the eye doctor this morning - no, not the AMD treatment ophtho but the 'regular' variety - Dr Rhambia who I first saw this past September.  Good results....only change - eye drops 3 times a day from now on.

I screwed up on my Rollei - rewinding after completion......thus far I have fucked up 4 rolls of film but I think I know how to do it all correctly, now...........B&W film loaded and I have to do some film photoshooting - again......

We have the second.....possibly third roofer here tomorrow at noon.......next step - finding out what I need for securing the permit......

7 Baseball

It is late morning on a wet Saturday as the rains - more than a drizzle but not enough for me to consider taking an umbrella with me were I to go out - have been (more or less) steady since early morning, yesterday.  I'm gonna be indoors all day, today - still in my pajamas - no need to go out.......and our small home is pleasantly, comfortably warm - with a thermal vest atop the pj tops as the central heating keeps our place warm. Watching Freddie

 I started early today and while I anticipated a light day, it was 'more involved' than I anticipated.  John Achorn acted his way through chapters 19-22 of Huck Finn.  We discussed the LA Times sponsored Festival of Books at which Percival Everett, author of James, spoke.  For Summer session (8 weeks), we are going to read Raymond Carver short stories.  We were also asked for our input regarding choice of authors for the Fall semester. I got home just as Freddie's class began.  The legions of women watercolor painters who simply adore Freddie Manseau makes his Zoom class quite entertaining.  Freddie is a true character - the extent to which he plays up on this to keep his classes large is open to conjecture but regardless, I am enjoying painting!
