Thursday!!!

 Up at 6.  Out of the house at 7.  Arrived at Downtown Inglewood at 7:40.  First called in Dept 6, Superior Court where I was able to get my narrative (finally) in the process of ending this case with the 'proviso' that  if and when (and the when is actually just a matter of time) Berg verbally accosts us next, we'll get Court assistance when starting a new case.

Our property is 1,668 Square Feet.   We'll measure the width tomorrow and then do the math to back into the length.  I'll take pictures over the weekend........but basically, both meetings (first with Public Works, then with Planning) will be dependent upon what the arborist we've hired to consult with us on 3 September has to say......

Tomorrow, also, I will go to SMC and get my bus pass working subsequent to the quarterly $22.50 payment already made....that'll cover me through the end of the year.....

7 Baseball

It is late morning on a wet Saturday as the rains - more than a drizzle but not enough for me to consider taking an umbrella with me were I to go out - have been (more or less) steady since early morning, yesterday.  I'm gonna be indoors all day, today - still in my pajamas - no need to go out.......and our small home is pleasantly, comfortably warm - with a thermal vest atop the pj tops as the central heating keeps our place warm. It has been awhile.........

 I took both a flu and a covid shot at CVS on Monday, this past week.  I had a reaction on Tuesday and that more or less screwed up my entire week.  Earlier that Monday I sat through my first Valeda session that started with eye testing - each eye both 'clearly' and with dots covering that previously clear line of sight - followed by 4 series of light treatment (2 each with each eye open and 2 with each eye closed...30 sec....90 sec....30 sec....90 sec). That's it - but each is recorded in detail and reported back to the German developers and they build their data base.   So.....what do I think after 3 sessions with 6 more scheduled over the next two weeks that will complete the first of three treatments that will be scheduled this year?  Surprisingly, I actually do see the smaller letters in the eye tests a bit more clearly now than at the start of the week........and I am obviously encouraged by that! #5 Baseball

 Joanna gained admission to Sophia University in Tokyo. For baseball, that mean full immersion into NPB - Nippon Professional Baseball.  The 'bridge' for American baseball diehards to baseball in Japan has been Bob Bavasi's JapanBall.  Bavasi, son of long time Dodger General Manager Buzzie Bavasi, had a program that scheduled going to baseball games at all twelve home team stadiums (plus a countryside game) in a two week period.  In 2012, I went on that program which ended on 17 September at the Sapporo Dome where I celebrated my 70th birthday with a whole lot of hi-fiving fans as the four of us JapanBallers passed out CrackerJack packets .........birthday parties do not get as unique as this one was!
