Another Monday morning_..-

I went on a Metro hike yesterday, choosing between the A and E Lines - deciding upon the E Line and after getting off, downtown LA for a piece of pizza at Sbarro, I chose the E Line and took the trip - a remaining 7 stations - to Atlantic Blvd.

This short trip was truly an 'eye opener'!  East Los Angeles is Mexican - completely.  I was, perhaps, the only gringo walking the shopping center near the E Line terminus.

There are 18 stations on the A Line from downtown LA to Azusa.  I've ridden by 10 of them.  Next time I hope to go all the way to Azusa and thus complete the A Line as well as having completed the E Line.  After?   The San Fernando Valley!

Coles, the originator of the French Dip sandwich, open from 3-midnight on 6th Street, 117 years old, closes on 2 August.  I will try to go there this week.

I've eliminated Stormy Weather from my harmonica playlist - too dificult to learn right now.  I'll concentrate on the 5 remaining songs I am working with and figure out how to integrate the harmonica in my stand-up gigs
