Take me to the game today!!!

 One baseball game a year at Dodger Stadium works for me at this stage of my life.........it'll be hot and it'll be an experience at the cashless ball park.  Will I write about it tomorrow?   Will I be in the mood to do so?   Good question!

Hostage is a five episode show on Netflix.  I started watching and binge watched 3-1/2 of the 5 episodes last night.   And for reading:  I should be finished with Vera, or Faith either tonight or tomorrow......I am also reading TS Eliot poetry for my lit class.....I hate it.......

7 Baseball

It is late morning on a wet Saturday as the rains - more than a drizzle but not enough for me to consider taking an umbrella with me were I to go out - have been (more or less) steady since early morning, yesterday.  I'm gonna be indoors all day, today - still in my pajamas - no need to go out.......and our small home is pleasantly, comfortably warm - with a thermal vest atop the pj tops as the central heating keeps our place warm. Watching Freddie

 I started early today and while I anticipated a light day, it was 'more involved' than I anticipated.  John Achorn acted his way through chapters 19-22 of Huck Finn.  We discussed the LA Times sponsored Festival of Books at which Percival Everett, author of James, spoke.  For Summer session (8 weeks), we are going to read Raymond Carver short stories.  We were also asked for our input regarding choice of authors for the Fall semester. I got home just as Freddie's class began.  The legions of women watercolor painters who simply adore Freddie Manseau makes his Zoom class quite entertaining.  Freddie is a true character - the extent to which he plays up on this to keep his classes large is open to conjecture but regardless, I am enjoying painting!
