One paragraph a day soon gets two.....etc.

Soon - its coming soon - the motivation to do a detailed essay.  When it comes, I anticipate words flowing a whole lot easier than they flow now......

I'm listening to Tristan on the Met Radio Network as I write this.......Because I am gone a full day, tomorrow, I thought best of doing the opera at a nearby AMC theatre........would they let me out during the extended intermissions to find someplace open, serving something?  Probably not.

Should I go out this afternoon and try to complete the first role of film on my Rollei?  I've gotten over my anticipation and can wait......such is life......

Not much else to say this morning.....back to listening to Tristan......

7 Baseball

It is late morning on a wet Saturday as the rains - more than a drizzle but not enough for me to consider taking an umbrella with me were I to go out - have been (more or less) steady since early morning, yesterday.  I'm gonna be indoors all day, today - still in my pajamas - no need to go out.......and our small home is pleasantly, comfortably warm - with a thermal vest atop the pj tops as the central heating keeps our place warm. Watching Freddie

 I started early today and while I anticipated a light day, it was 'more involved' than I anticipated.  John Achorn acted his way through chapters 19-22 of Huck Finn.  We discussed the LA Times sponsored Festival of Books at which Percival Everett, author of James, spoke.  For Summer session (8 weeks), we are going to read Raymond Carver short stories.  We were also asked for our input regarding choice of authors for the Fall semester. I got home just as Freddie's class began.  The legions of women watercolor painters who simply adore Freddie Manseau makes his Zoom class quite entertaining.  Freddie is a true character - the extent to which he plays up on this to keep his classes large is open to conjecture but regardless, I am enjoying painting!
